The SW6DE water heater provides electric and propane heating. The propane side works, and the AC side has been tested for a stuck toggle switch, continuity, and resistance with no issues found. I have a 1996 Newmar Kounty Aire 5th Wheel and want to install an Onan 4.0 RV GenSet. Is an outer case necessary for installation, or is it mainly for sound and heat protection? Also, the ID tag is worn and I'm unable to read the specs. Can anyone provide information or direct me to a manual or specifications?
